The three documents you agree to when you use anyglance. Written to be read.
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Thank you for using anyglance. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and us. Please read them — they are written to be read.
When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean YK Solution (YK 솔루션), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (business registration number 206-15-32986, mail-order business registration No. 2026-Chungbuk Cheongju-2593) and owned by Kim Yong Kwan, at 401, 38-8 Jikji-daero 653beon-gil, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do 28476, Republic of Korea. You are contracting with YK Solution.
When we say "Services", we mean the anyglance.net website, the anyglance web application, the anyglance agent software you install on your servers, and the endpoints the agent reports to.
When we say "you" or "your", we mean the person or organization that owns an anyglance account.
By creating an account or continuing to use the Services, you agree to the latest version of these Terms. If we do not enforce a provision at some point, that does not mean we waive it. These Terms contain a limitation of our liability.
Account terms
- You are responsible for keeping your password and your agent install tokens secret. We cannot be liable for loss or damage caused by your failure to do so.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or other automated methods are not permitted.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must have the right to install the agent on every server you connect. The agent runs with administrator privileges (root on Linux and macOS, SYSTEM on Windows) so that it can read system metrics. Install it only on machines you own or are authorized to manage.
Use restrictions
You may not use the Services to:
- monitor, probe or collect information from systems you are not authorized to monitor;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with the security features of the Services, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
- interfere with, disrupt or place an undue burden on the Services, for example by sending reports far more often than the agent does;
- upload or transmit malware, or impersonate another person;
- break any law or regulation that applies to you.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these restrictions. Report abuse to [email protected].
What the agent does on your servers
The agent reads metrics and sends them to us over outbound HTTPS. It does not open any port on your server. It does not run commands you type into the web application — the only actions it takes on request are the two fixed actions reboot and shutdown, and only after you ask for one in the web application and confirm it. What the agent collects is listed in our Privacy Policy.
Payment, trial and plan changes
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and payment-related customer service. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
- Every new account starts with a free trial. We do not ask for a card for the trial. The trial length and limits are shown on our pricing page.
- When the trial ends and you have not subscribed, your account moves to the Free plan. Servers above the Free plan's limit stop reporting, and those servers are deleted 30 days after the trial ends unless you subscribe or remove other servers first. We email you before that happens.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown on our pricing page. Prices include tax; Paddle works out the tax for your country within that price.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- If we change prices for existing subscribers, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
Cancellation and account deletion
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for; after that your account moves to the Free plan, and servers above the Free plan's limit stop reporting. Those servers are deleted 30 days later unless you subscribe again or remove other servers first. We email you before that happens.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account immediately and permanently deletes your account, users, servers, alert rules, install tokens and payment history from our database. If you have a subscription, it is cancelled at that moment and nothing is charged after that. Deleting your account does not refund anything by itself; ask for a refund under our Refund Policy. A record that stops the same email address from signing up again for another trial is kept as described in our Privacy Policy. Collected metrics become inaccessible immediately and are erased from our metrics storage within 90 days. Connected agents stop reporting. We cannot recover a deleted account.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your use puts the Services or other customers at risk. Except where the risk is urgent, we will contact you first.
Changes to the Services
We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue the Services entirely, we will give paying customers at least 30 days' notice by email and refund any unused prepaid period.
Availability and monitoring
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not offer a service-level agreement.
- anyglance is a monitoring tool, and monitoring tools can miss things: an agent can fail to report, an alert email can be delayed or filtered, our own systems can fail. Do not rely on the Services as the only safeguard for systems where a missed alert could cause harm to people.
- We may temporarily limit an account whose usage far exceeds normal use if it affects other customers. We will contact you when we do.
- Until the Services are stable, we may perform scheduled maintenance up to once a month. We will announce the date and time at least 3 days in advance by email to account owners and with a notice at the top of the web app after you sign in. Maintenance usually takes less than an hour, and the web app and alerts may be unavailable during it. The agent holds about 20 minutes of reports and sends them when maintenance ends — if maintenance runs longer than that, metrics for the rest of the period may be missing and alerts for that period may not be sent.
Your data and our property
- The data your servers send us remains yours. You give us a limited license to store and process it only to provide the Services to you. We do not sell your data.
- We own the Services, including the software, design and the anyglance name. You may use the agent only to send data to the Services. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Services except as allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, including missed or delayed alerts, unauthorized access to your data, or the conduct of any third party.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute will be handled by the Cheongju District Court as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections that the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and email account owners before the change takes effect.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
You are installing our agent on your servers, so you should know exactly what it sends us and what we do with it. This policy lists what we collect and why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and your rights. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers. To count visits to our web pages we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is YK Solution (YK 솔루션), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (business registration number 206-15-32986, mail-order business registration No. 2026-Chungbuk Cheongju-2593), 401, 38-8 Jikji-daero 653beon-gil, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do 28476, Republic of Korea.
Privacy officer: Kim Yong Kwan · [email protected]
What we collect and why
Your account. Your email address, a hash of your password (we never store the password itself), your plan and trial dates, a record of each login session with your browser's user-agent string, and — if your browser told us — the domain of the site you first came to us from (for example reddit.com; only the domain, never the full address). We use these to let you sign in, to send you alerts and account emails, to keep your account secure, and to learn which places bring people to anyglance.
What the agent sends from your servers.
- Metrics — numbers only: CPU, memory, disk, network, GPU usage and temperature, uptime, clock offset, TCP connection counts.
- Inventory — hostname, operating system and kernel version, CPU model and core count, total memory, GPU model, network interfaces with their internal and external IP addresses, the agent version, and the location label you type in yourself.
- The latest snapshot — the top processes by CPU and memory, by process name only, and the names and states of the services you chose to watch. We keep only the most recent snapshot, not a history.
What the agent does not send: log files, file contents, traces, or process command lines — command-line arguments often carry passwords and tokens, so the agent does not read them.
Alerts and actions. The alerts we sent you and when they opened and closed. When you ask for a server to be rebooted or shut down, we record who asked, when, from which IP address, and the result.
Billing. Paddle, our Merchant of Record, collects your payment details. We receive your subscription status, plan, billing period, Paddle's customer and subscription identifiers, the date, amount, tax and any refund of each payment, and the type of payment method with the last 4 digits of the card. Your full card number, expiry date and CVC never reach us.
Emails you send us. When you write to support, we keep the correspondence so we have the history if you write again.
Server logs. Our web servers log requests, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted after at most 60 days.
Legal basis
We process your data to provide the Services you signed up for (performance of a contract), to keep the Services and other customers safe and to prevent abuse (our legitimate interests), and to meet tax and legal obligations (legal obligation).
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary and is not readable by scripts. We also keep your theme, language and chart range choices, your progress on the onboarding page, and the domain of the site you first came from in your browser's local storage. Only that domain leaves your browser, once, when you sign up; the rest never does. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Our network provider Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks.
Who else handles your data
We use these service providers. They process data only to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Servers and databases that run anyglance | Seoul, Republic of Korea |
| Amazon Simple Email Service | Sending alert and account emails | Seoul, Republic of Korea |
| Cloudflare | DNS and network edge between you and our servers; visit counts for our web pages (Web Analytics — no cookies) | Global network |
| Paddle | Payments, invoices, taxes (Merchant of Record) | United Kingdom and their processors |
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example under a valid court order. Unless the law prohibits it, we will tell you first.
Where your data is, and transfers outside Korea
Your data is stored in the Republic of Korea (Amazon Web Services, Seoul region). Two of the providers above are outside Korea, and data reaches them because we need them to provide the Services to you (to run the site and to take payment):
| Cloudflare | Paddle | |
|---|---|---|
| Recipient and contact | Cloudflare, Inc. · [email protected] | Paddle.com Market Limited · [email protected] |
| Country | United States (global network) | United Kingdom |
| What | Your IP address and the contents of every request between your browser or agent and us, including what you type to sign in and the metrics your agent sends | Your email address and account identifier, which we pass to checkout; your name, billing address and payment details, which you give Paddle directly |
| When and how | On every request, in real time, over the network encrypted with TLS | When you open checkout or subscribe, over the network encrypted with TLS |
| Why | DNS, delivering the site, and protecting it from attacks | Payment, invoicing, taxes and fraud prevention as Merchant of Record |
| How long | Only as long as needed to carry the request, plus security logs kept under Cloudflare's privacy policy | As long as tax and accounting law requires, under Paddle's privacy policy |
You can refuse these transfers by telling our privacy officer. Every request to anyglance passes through Cloudflare, so refusing the Cloudflare transfer means you cannot use the Services. Refusing the Paddle transfer means you cannot buy a paid plan; you can keep using the trial and the Free plan.
How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Metrics | 90 days on every plan. The Free plan shows only the last 7 days, but stores the same 90 days so nothing is lost if you upgrade |
| Inventory and latest snapshot | While the server is connected. Deleted when you delete the server |
| Alert history and reboot/shutdown records | While the server exists. Deleted with the server |
| Account, sessions, install tokens | While your account exists |
| Server logs | Up to 60 days |
| Billing records | As long as tax law requires (kept by Paddle). Our own copy of your payment history is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete your account |
| Hash of a deleted account's email address, the date its trial started and whether it received a founding seat | One year after the account is deleted, then deleted |
When you delete a server, its records are deleted from our database immediately and its metrics are erased within 90 days. When you delete your account, everything in our database is deleted immediately and your metrics become inaccessible at once and are erased within 90 days. To stop the same email address from signing up again for another trial, we keep a hash of your email address, the date your trial started and whether you received a founding seat for one year; we do not keep the email address itself. On the Free plan, servers above the limit are deleted 30 days after your account moves to Free, whether because your trial or your subscription ended.
Our database and metric store are backed up as disk snapshots kept for 7 days in the same region as our servers (Seoul). Data you delete therefore leaves our backups within 7 days.
How we protect it
Traffic between your browser or agent and our network edge (Cloudflare) is encrypted with TLS. Our servers accept web traffic only from Cloudflare's network. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, and agent and install tokens are stored only as hashes. Every request is checked against the account it belongs to, so one customer cannot read another's data.
Your rights
You can access and correct your data, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. You can delete your account yourself from the Account page at any time. For anything else, email [email protected] from your account's email address; we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm that you own the account first.
You can complain to a data protection authority — in Korea, the Personal Information Protection Commission (www.pipc.go.kr); in the EU or UK, your local authority.
Children
The Services are for managing servers and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and email account owners.

Refund Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
If you are not happy, you get your money back. Within 30 days of any payment — your first payment or a renewal, monthly or yearly — you can ask for a full refund of that payment. We do not ask why.
How to ask
- Use the link in the receipt email from Paddle, or find your order at paddle.net, and request a refund there; or
- email [email protected] from your account's email address, and we will issue the refund through Paddle.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so refunds are issued by Paddle to the payment method you used. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
After a refund
A refund ends the subscription it was for. Your account moves to the Free plan, as described in our Terms of Service.
After 30 days
After 30 days we do not refund that payment, except where the law requires us to. You can still cancel at any time so that you are not charged again.
Free trial
The trial is free and needs no card, so there is nothing to refund.
